The SPS Way
Sentinel is different from other companies. Different in how we treat our customers, how we work with our partners and team members and very different in the results we achieve. These differences are best captured in The SPS Way – the 31 Fundamentals that are the behavioral foundation of our unique culture. Each week we celebrate 1 Fundamental starting with a companywide email written by one of our team members and then daily at every meeting or conference call of 3 or more team members. We also offer cash incentives each month to the winner and their nominator of our “live the Fundamentals” challenge. We know practicing these behaviors help us all Deliver Results (#3) with each and every interaction.
We live these 31 Fundamentals – everyday. They are not in any particular order. None of them are more important as any one of them. These Fundamentals capture the behaviors required to nurture and maintain Sentinel’s unique and winning culture.

Fundamental #28 – COMMUNICATE TO BE UNDERSTOODKnow your audience. Write and speak in a way that they can understand. Avoid using internal lingo, acronyms, and industry jargon. Use the simplest possible explanations. Remember, your communication determines responses in others.
