Hygienic Wall Cladding for Cleanrooms
Cleanrooms are the most demanding controlled environment as far as requirements are concerned. cGMP, USP 797 and USP 800 standards must be adhered to and these facilities can be subjected to both State and FDA inspections.
Requirements include:
- Surfaces must be smooth
- Impervious and non-porous
- Resistant to damage from cleanroom disinfectant chemicals
- Have no cracks or seams where contamination can grow
- Be non-shedding
- No VOCs
- Have high impact resistance to minimize cracks, scratches and dents
- Resists stains and odors
- Require minimal maintenance to ensure minimal downtime
- Durable with a long life
- Have a Fire rating of Class A or meet FM 4882 standard
