Features of Our Cleanroom Clocks

Novanex digital clocks use Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, where the network provides both the time and the power through a powered ethernet cable. The time is automatically set by a Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) and is accurate to within 200 milliseconds. It also automatically adjusts for daylight saving time. This technology ensures greater reliability and synchronization across your entire facility, as digital PoE clocks don’t require a master clock, electrical outlets or batteries. 

Some more helpful features of these cleanroom clocks include:

• Easy installation and maintenance: PoE digital clocks have simple installation and are made from 316L stainless steel that can withstand a harsh cleaning regime and the chemicals you use in your cleanroom. All you have to do for maintenance is check the physical and visual properties of the clock and verify the unit’s network configuration periodically.
• Design options: Our clocks are also available with red or green LED numerals displays. The range of clocks from SPS CleanTech includes six digits and are available in 12-hour or 24-hour displays. 
• High visibility: Our range of digital clocks enables you to read the time from over 150 feet away. This quality lets you easily view the time in your cleanroom.
• Low power consumption: They consume very little power, with the six-digit clock having a max consumption of 9.5 watts.

An optional cloud-based management system is also available with our clocks. When you purchase this option, you receive a login and password that gives you access to a clock monitoring system. You can view all the clocks installed across your organization and their current status. With this system, you receive an email per day on any day that a clock does not appear to be online. You can access the information via a web browser on your cellphone, tablet or PC. 

If your environment has dust and water, we offer National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA)-rated enclosures available to protect your clock. Also, our ATEX-rated enclosures protect clocks in environments subject to potential gas explosions.
